Radiation Therapist Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend, on-call, or floating requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures using X-rays and radioactive substances as prescribed by physicians
• Operate specialized equipment including Trilogy and TrueBeam machines
• Treat cancer and osteoarthritis patients using SBRT, IMRT, basic radiation therapy, and breath-hold techniques
• Work as one of two therapists per machine, managing a patient load of 15 to 25 patients daily
• Maintain accurate treatment records and prepare operational reports
• Manage, store, and order supplies and equipment as needed

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy
• LSRTBE (Louisiana State Radiation Therapy Board Examination) certification in Radiation Therapy
• RADTH ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association

Assignment Details

• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: September 7, 2026
• Shift: 5x8 days (Monday–Friday)
• Weekly Pay: $3,065
• Dress Code: Olive green pants and black shirts preferred
