RN (Registered Nurse)

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with primary schedule 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Additional shifts available 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM as needed
• Weekend requirements: minimum of 4 weekends per 6-week period
• Holiday requirements may apply based on facility needs
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements between units
• 2-day unit-specific orientation required
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred
• Must have well-rounded emergency care experience
• Care for pediatric and adult patients with various conditions including chest pain, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, lacerations, STEMI, stroke, and trauma
• Perform triage duties in designated triage room
• Responsible for reading cardiac strips and monitoring patients
• Draw labs and perform various emergency procedures
• Work with common emergency drips including procedural sedation and TNK
• Any color scrubs acceptable for dress code
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BSN degree not required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
