Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule options: 4x12 or 3x12 shifts per week
• Work weekdays and weekends (3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period)
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• Patient ratios: 1:5-7 on a 34-bed med/surg unit with telemetry
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• WV or Compact nursing license required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, chest tube management, and various acute care procedures
• Facility has strict attendance policy - only 2-3 call offs tolerated per contract
• Work with adult patients with acute medical conditions
• Daily census averages 30 patients
• No scrubs provided
