Opportunity:

PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 32 hours per week with four 8-hour shifts
• Provide physical therapy services in multiple settings: Swing Bed, Inpatient, Observation, and Extended Recovery
• 5 years of experience required
• Current Missouri Licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant required
• BLS and CPR Certification through American Heart Association required
• Weekend requirement of 1 Saturday per month with specific coverage dates needed: 9/5, 10/10, and 11/14
• When working weekends, receive a day off during the week in collaboration with Therapy Director
• May float to answer phones, work in One Day Surgery to clean beds, or take patients to vehicles when census is low
• First time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• Valid state license required at time of submission (Missouri or Compact)
• References required
• Copy of certifications required
• Minimum 1 year specialty experience required
• Background reviewed on case-by-case basis
• Minimum 18 months before returning for return staff policy
