OR RN Job in Austell, GA

Join Cobb Hospital as an Operating Room RN on our day shift team. You will work four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Call responsibilities include 24–40 hours per 4-week scheduling period, self-assigned in randomized order.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and patient teaching
• Complete timely documentation and promote a respectful clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments

Required Qualifications

• RN license (single state or compact)
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Less than 1 year experience with direct patient care preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills

This is a 91-day assignment beginning June 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,864.80.
