Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Ithaca, NY

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. This position offers a 4x10 day schedule—four 10-hour shifts per week on a variable Monday through Friday basis—giving you structured time off while maintaining consistent patient care.

Your Role

You'll provide specialized cardiac care during catheterization procedures, supporting physicians and the clinical team in a fast-paced, procedural environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures
• Managing emergency STEMI cases during on-call periods
• Monitoring patient status and vital signs throughout procedures
• Working with the Epic electronic medical record system

On-Call Expectations

In addition to your scheduled shifts, you'll participate in call coverage as follows: typically 1–2 weekday call shifts per week (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning) and one weekend per month call coverage (5:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday). Call shifts require you to be available for emergency STEMI activations and other urgent cardiac cases.

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license and bring prior cardiac catheterization experience. Proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record system is required for this role.
