Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Floating required in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
• Expect to work some holidays, rotating between Team A and Team B
• Patient ratio of 6 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Charting system experience required; Meditech system used
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Additional certifications: ACLS, CPI (preferred)
• Required skills include: telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drip management, heparin and insulin administration, blood product administration, PICC line management, peripheral line care, central line blood draw, starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, wound care/wound vac, PCA management, feeding tube care and management, continuous bladder irrigation, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
