Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed to other Cone Health campuses
• Must work Charge RN shifts as needed
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• 24 hours of orientation
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in orthopedic and medical surgical specialties
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must be competent in accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy/ileostomy care, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube management, heparin administration, IV management, PCA pumps, PICC line management, phlebotomy, surgical drains, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST on Wednesday prior to start date
