Physical Therapist Job in Newport, OR

You'll provide inpatient acute care physical therapy services at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, starting October 21, 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions causing decline in physical mobility or functional independence
• Deliver specialized services including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological and stroke rehabilitation, balance and dizziness rehabilitation, and chronic pain treatment through movement
• Focus on returning patients to functional independence and community activities
• Travel to multiple points of care within the facility

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification

Compensation and schedule:

You'll earn $2,748 per week working four 10-hour day shifts. This assignment runs for 91 days, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while gaining experience in acute care rehabilitation services.
