ICU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as an RN in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of May 4, 2026. You'll work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week at $1,839.60 weekly.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a neuro-intensive setting, managing patients on advanced life support equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitors. Patient ratios typically run 2:1, though acuity and staffing may shift this to 1:1 or 3:1 on any given shift. You'll assist with critical procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line placements, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions. Documentation occurs through Meditech.

Schedule and Expectations

Your schedule is built in 4-week increments with self-scheduling options. You'll commit to a minimum of four weekend shifts per schedule block. As contract labor, you may be asked to float to medical/surgical units when needed. The manager adjusts shifts as needed to maintain unit balance. A unit secretary staffs the day shift, and an occasional nurse extern works as tech support.

Requirements and Standards

• Active RN license (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• ICU experience required
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) as required uniform
