Job Details:

• Work night shifts on a 4x10 schedule with 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Schedule to be discussed and determined at interview
• No weekend hours required
• No on-call requirements
• Work in an Emergency Department setting with trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion cases
• Operate GE Revolution (256 slices) newest platform and Siemens CT scanners
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Perform CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain optimal image quality
• Responsible for all aspects of CT imaging procedures including anatomical positioning and physiology
• Independently select and modify technical factors to produce optimum CT scans while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort
• Manipulate patient transfer equipment and assist with lifting, moving, and transporting patients
• Recognize emergency situations and adapt to a fast-paced daily workload
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team members
• 1-2+ years of experience working in an ED setting with trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion required
• CTA and perfusion knowledge preferred
• Required certification: ARRT with CT registry
• Missouri Radiologic Technologist License required
• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required
