Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position located on the 3rd floor of the main building in the Medical Services unit
• 33-bed telemetry unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse and floor RNs based on 5:1 ratio with no technicians
• Perform management of IV drips, EKGs, and administration of medications
• Manage chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Experience working in large trauma facilities preferred
• Must demonstrate a positive, compassionate, caring, and flexible attitude
