Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiology @ MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - Peds

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Staff typically stay until the last patient is either discharged or admitted (rarely past 7:00 PM)
• Perform minimum of 2-3 patient visits per day
• Provide pre and post-anesthesia care for cardiovascular, EP, and interventional Cath procedures
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric congenital cardiac patients
• Handle sedated studies, clinic visits, and cardiac surgical workups
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required with pediatric ICU or stepdown (preferably cardiac) or procedural care nursing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• South Carolina nursing license must be in hand prior to start
• Epic charting system experience required
• Self-scheduling with team, minimum of 2 Monday and 2 Friday shifts per month required
• 24-hour orientation provided
• No weekend requirements, no on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• 60-mile radius rule applies
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy
