Mammography Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

You will work as a Mammography Technologist at Sutter Health CPMC Buchanan in San Francisco. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 hour shifts
• Schedule options: 0800–1630 or 1130–2000
• Occasional Saturday and evening shifts
• 7 weekend shifts required per contract
• Weekly pay: $3,081.60

Role Details

You will perform mammography services for a patient load of 28–30 patients per shift, supporting a daily census of 150 visits. You will handle 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, and stereotactic biopsy procedures. You will work with patient populations across adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and follow radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(M) certification (AHA certified)
• BLS certification (AHA certified)
• CRT (R)(M) certification (AHA certified)
• Valid state license at time of submission
• Two years of recent relevant experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Lab work availability within 3–5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification

Onboarding and Flexibility

You will complete 8 hours of orientation plus non-billable modules averaging 1–5 hours. You may be assigned to float to other locations if census is low on your home unit.
