OR RN Job in Bozeman, MT

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time Operating Room positions. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, with rotating shifts and on-call coverage requirements.

Role Overview

You will work variable day shifts with the flexibility to cover all shifts as needed. Your responsibilities include collecting and assessing comprehensive patient health data, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members. You will employ strategies to promote patient health, maintain a safe environment, and integrate ethical provisions and current research into your practice. Strong judgment, patience, and professional demeanor are essential in this busy and stressful environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse degree (Bachelor's or Associate's) from an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
• Montana Registered Nurse licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• 1 year of circulating experience
• 1 year of scrub experience

Additional Information

This position includes cerebrovascular disease education requirements: two hours of initial training within one year of hire, and one hour annually thereafter. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,814 for this full-time 1.0 FTE assignment.
