CT Technologist Job in Redwood City, CA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA, on a 91-day travel assignment. This role offers 3x12-hour night shifts with weekly pay of $2,890.80.

What you'll do:

• Operate Siemens CT equipment (64-slice and 128-slice scanners)
• Schedule and scan approximately one patient per hour
• Work with a diverse patient population: ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Chart using the Cerner EMR system
• Support both inpatient and emergency imaging needs

Shift details:

You'll work graveyard shifts based on your experience level. The hospital provides scrubs. Weekend requirements vary by specialty and proficiency level. Holidays are covered by call. You may be canceled up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Required credentials:

• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT)
• ARRT (R)
• Fluoroscopy permit
• California state certification

Experience and skills:

CT experience is preferred. Venipuncture experience is a plus but not required. OR experience is highly desirable. Advanced certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

Orientation:

Orientation is tailored to your background. Non-CT technologists receive 1 day with portables and 1 day in OR. CT-experienced technologists receive case-by-case orientation.
