Medical Technologist Job in Cumming, GA

Northside Hospital Forsyth is seeking a Medical Technologist for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA. This is a 89-day contract position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your clinical laboratory experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x10 night shifts, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM on a variable basis
• Weekly Pay: $1,947
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Duration: 89 days

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen testing and analysis in a clinical laboratory setting
• Utilize expertise in blood bank, chemistry, and limited microbiology testing
• Maintain quality standards and accuracy in all laboratory procedures
• Work collaboratively with the laboratory team to support patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist within specialty
• Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist credential (Medical Lab Technician will not be considered)
• Current certification: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
• Strong proficiency in blood bank, chemistry, and limited microbiology
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting

Holiday Requirements:

• Must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
