Job Details:

• Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services for patients in both non-critical and critical care areas
• Provide mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) while monitoring patient parameters
• Perform medication administration via nebulizer or metered dose inhaler
• Conduct humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, and incentive spirometry
• Assist with intubation, extubation, suctioning, and bronchoscopy procedures
• Respond to code blues, RIT/CRIT calls, and patient transports in timely manner
• Complete computer entry, verify physician orders, and document clinical information
• Maintain ventilator equipment and monitor patient response to setting changes
• Provide chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory mechanics assessments
• Mentor new personnel and participate in quality improvement projects
• Must have 1 year of experience working with general pediatric patients
• Graduate of accredited Respiratory Care program required
• Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary practice letter required
• CRT/RRT credential through National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• BLS certification from AHA required within 2 months of hire
• Critical care experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
