Cath Lab Technologist Job in Omaha, NE

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of April 27, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

You will work 5 days per week on 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. On-call requirements include 1–2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month with rotating holidays. You must maintain a 30-minute call response time and live within a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Your Role

You will scrub in to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures. Your responsibilities include monitoring and documenting cases, handling an average of 1–3 cases per day in a single suite/lab, and working with adult inpatients and outpatients diagnosed with coronary artery disease (CAD) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). You will gain experience with left heart catheterizations, stent placement, ICD, and pacemaker procedures using equipment including Siemens cath, Siemens sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS systems. You will also use the EPIC EMR system.

Staffing and Flexibility

You will float as needed between three campuses: Bergan Mercy, Lakeside, and Immanuel in the Omaha area. You will set your daily schedule with some self-scheduling flexibility for call shifts. You will receive 1–3 days of orientation at each of the three campuses.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• ARRT or RCIS registration
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid driver's license at submittal
• Cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility

Important Notes

Hospital-supplied scrubs are required. Artificial nails are prohibited; refusal to remove them will result in contract termination. Travel experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,212.
