Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Plano, TX

Medical City Plano is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our IR team. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities averaging 13 call days per month, including 1–2 weekends. This is a 91-week travel assignment beginning May 25, 2026.

What You'll Do

• Perform neuro interventional procedures, including thrombectomies, coilings, MMA procedures, and spinal angiograms
• Handle IR body cases such as G-tube placements, biopsies, percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN), Mediport insertions, and TIPS procedures
• Conduct trauma angiograms, including spleen, liver, gastroduodenal artery, and renal procedures
• Support call teams of two technologists and two nurses per day
• Operate Phillips equipment (two biplanes and one single plane)

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• Neuro interventional experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
• VI registry preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Phillips equipment experience preferred

• Steel grey scrubs are required
• No floating to other units
• You must be a team player who adapts to different physician preferences and is comfortable with on-call responsibilities
