Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Perform cardio-pulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support and patient/family education
• Work with inpatients and outpatients of all ages with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities
• Follow established protocols or physician prescriptions for respiratory care
• Provide respiratory care duties in all areas of the hospital
• Must have EPIC experience - required for consideration
• Labor & Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience required
• Critical care proficiency required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NBRC RRT
• New York state license required
• Associate's degree in Accredited Respiratory Care Program required
• Must complete training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from past two years required
• Weekend schedule and on-call responsibilities to be determined
• Permanent address must match driver's license/state ID and will be validated during compliance process
• Travelers from specific New York counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington) will not be considered
