RN - Operating Room Circulator

Opportunity:

RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work combination of (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts per week
• One 12-hour weekend shift required every 5-6 weeks
• 8-hour weekend call required every 2 months
• Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as available
• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise and document patient care and family teaching
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• Perform wide variety of professional nursing services
• Required certifications: BLS and current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure
• Must be graduate from accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary for effective nursing care plans
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
