Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required
• Schedule is determined by manager; block scheduling is not available
• Unit operates under a Virtual Integrated Care (VIC) nursing model
• 24-bed telemetry unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) present at a 12:1 ratio
• Common diagnoses include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg telemetry patients
• RNs must be able to read telemetry strips; monitor techs also monitor patients
• Manage patients on CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
• Float to all med/surg units as required
• Charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators available on unit
• Charting system: Paragon
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Required certification: BLS
• BSN not required
• Strong communication and time management skills required
