CVOR RN Job in Alexandria, LA

Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position. This is a travel assignment running 91 days, beginning August 24, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), 36–40 hours weekly with call rotation
• Pay: $2,665 per week
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• No float to other units

Required Qualifications:

• Cardiovascular surgery experience is required
• Operating Room Technician (ORT) experience
• Basic OR intraoperative skills
• Scrub experience in orthopedic, neurosurgery, and general surgery
• Advanced robotics skills
• Certification preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of certification

Facility Information:

You will work in a surgical unit equipped with 9 general OR suites, 1 GU suite, and 3 Women's OR suites. The facility performs a diverse range of procedures including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, GYN, Plastics, robotic-assisted procedures, and Cardiovascular Surgery. The department uses Meditech for documentation and provides scrubs.
