PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• 10-hour shifts with a 4 days per week schedule
• Variable schedule with shared on-call rotation
• Must have strong Pre, PACU, and Phase II skills
• Float to entire Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and Conscious Sedation for Special Procedures
• Provide SSSU/PACU nursing care duties across outpatient services
• Utilize nursing assessment skills including peri-operative education and care
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Position requires immediate availability to start
