Ob/Gyn Sonographer Job in Christiansburg, VA

Carilion New River Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Ob/Gyn Sonographer to join our ultrasound department. You will provide obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound scans in an ambulatory care environment, working with patients throughout their pregnancy and related care needs.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x9 days, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedule: Alternating days off—Mondays off one week, Fridays off the next, providing 4-day weekends twice per month
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,406

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Documented travel healthcare experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Current ARDMS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics, and anatomy scans
• Ability to perform OB ultrasound scans in an ambulatory setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARDMS OB/Gyn certification
• OB certification
• Philips ultrasound equipment experience
