Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Savannah, GA

You'll work as a Special Procedures Technician in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting April 13, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,628.

Schedule and Staffing

You'll work four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and collaborate with 3–4 person teams composed of two technicians and two RNs. There is no floating policy for this position.

Your Responsibilities

You'll operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream devices. You'll manage critical care drips and use the EPIC Cupid documentation system. Your day involves performing procedures such as Permcath placement, Port placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma cases.

Required Experience and Credentials

• ICU or ER experience
• Critical care drip management experience
• Critical care and Angiography/IR experience
• Experience with stroke and trauma care
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Facility Environment

You'll work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center, managing a high-acuity patient population. The facility environment requires a navy blue and black uniform for technicians.
