Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant & robotics (thoracic) procedures preferred
• 2 years minimum experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Call requirements: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs)
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday policy: Expected to work major holidays that fall within assignment period
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit
• Skills include CVOR procedures, hybrid OR experience, cardiothoracic robotic surgery, and various cardiovascular procedures
• GA or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission
