RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2 for days, nights, and weekends
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Care for post open heart surgery and vascular patients, LVADs, and Impella patients
• Patient population: Adults to geriatrics
• Work with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Float throughout facility within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Holiday requirement: Work major holidays that fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Maximum 7 days request time off per contract
• Spring break blackout dates: April 4th-12th
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, ECMO, IABP, and post-cardiac surgery care
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
