Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Must have labor and delivery experience as primary assignment will be in L&D
• Minimum 2 years experience required with children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• NICU or PICU experience required
• Home unit assignment of NICU, PICU, or Peds determined at facility based on needs
• Floating required between PICU, NICU, and Peds units, may also float to IU Health North Hospital
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, Indiana State License
• NRP required for L&D placement (can be obtained once offered)
• PALS preferred
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Skills include aerosol therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gas interpretation, pediatric critical care, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• First time travelers accepted
