Radiation Therapist Job in Petoskey, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, MI. You will work days on a 5x8 schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements, earning $2,750 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control and assurance tests
• Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapist experience
• 1 year of travel experience required OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA
• ARRT (T) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• TrueBeam experience
• ARIA experience
• Trilogy experience
