Surgical Tech - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, hours may vary on occasion
• No call and no weekend requirements
• Up to 40 hours of pre-approved time off per contract
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, SGNA, and CER - all must be provided at time of submission
• EPIC and Provation experience required
• Assist with biopsies, colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, and enteroscopy procedures
• Operate and maintain electrosurgical units including ERBE portable electrical coagulation instruments
• Perform esophageal foreign body removal and use polyp snares, forceps, and balloon dilators
• Handle pathology specimens and apply injection with spot tattoo ink and lifting agents
• Use hemostatic agents including clips and banders
• Process and clean instruments and restock room and supply room carts
• Follow Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedures and infection control standards
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Daily census of approximately 50 patients
