MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) - Med Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 10-hour night shifts working a 7 on/7 off schedule
• Available shift times include: Days (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Evenings (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM), and Nights (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 12-hour night shifts follow a 7 on/7 off rotation
• Weekend requirements: Day shift works at least 1 weekend per month; evening and night shifts work at least 2 weekends per month
• Rotating holidays may be required based on staffing needs
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• Work as a generalist covering Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology/Molecular, processing, and phlebotomy as needed
• Phlebotomy required for evening and night shifts until 8:00 PM
• Utilize EPIC as the primary charting system and LIS system
• Work with equipment including Softbank (blood bank), WAM (hematology for differentials), and DI (chemistry)
• Lab coats provided; no specific scrub color required
• Department-specific orientation of 1 to 3 weeks depending on experience
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• MLT, MT, or MLS certification required; AMT or ASCP certifications are acceptable
• Required certifications: ASCP and BLS
