RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week
• Minimum 1 year experience required; first time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday requirement: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Required skills: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, heparin administration, isolation precautions/PPE, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, PCA pumps, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, IV starts and maintenance, wound care/wound vac
• Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
