Physical Therapist Job in Manning, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment in home health care across South Carolina. You'll provide in-home physical therapy services in Clarendon, Sumter, Lee, Darlington, and Florence counties, working a 5-day, 8-hour schedule.

Your Role

You will deliver physical therapy services according to physician orders, completing a minimum of 20 units of patient care weekly. Your responsibilities include routine PT visits, start-of-care evaluations, reassessments, and patient progress documentation. You'll interact directly with patients, families, and agency staff while managing your schedule independently and meeting all attendance and reporting requirements.

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,920
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Unit-based compensation structure (no hourly or overtime pay)
• Up to 2 weeks of orientation pay available at 30-unit equivalent
• Assignment duration: 90 days, starting April 5, 2026

Unit Structure

• Routine PT visit: 1 unit
• PT Start of Care: 3 units
• PT evaluation: 1.5 units
• PT reassessment: 1.5 units

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy degree
• Knowledge of state therapy laws and federal health insurance program regulations
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Good hearing, eyesight, and manual dexterity for clinical care
• Comfortable with moderate physical activity including walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, and driving
• Understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Time off limited to no more than 2 days at a time
