OR Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Renown Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma facility. This is a night shift position, Monday through Thursday from 8:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and no call requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across 18 operating rooms
• Support trauma, neurosurgery, Da Vinci Xi robotic procedures, urology, vascular, open heart, general surgery, orthopedic trauma, pediatric, plastic, and ENT cases
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment

Requirements

• Current Nevada state RN license required prior to start date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years experience in Trauma OR setting

You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations, supporting both patients and their families throughout their surgical experience. This role offers the opportunity to develop surgical nursing expertise in a trauma center setting with exposure to complex procedural cases.
