ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll work as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, providing direct care to critically ill patients who require intensive medical intervention and close monitoring.

What You'll Do

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the care team
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical illness

Schedule

You'll work every other weekend and every other holiday on a rotating schedule. The assignment is 91 days, starting June 29, 2026.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,342.34 for this 3x12 night shift position.
