PCU Registered Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus - Nursing is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 20, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,732.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a progressive care setting, working 3x12 hour rotating shifts. Your schedule will rotate between day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) shifts based on operational needs. The facility will make every effort to honor your shift preference but reserves the right to rotate schedules as necessary. You may float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license: permanent Ohio state license or compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in a progressive care or step-down specialty
• Active certifications required at submission: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (no pending certifications accepted)
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within your specialty, from an assignment worked in the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)

Onboarding

During orientation, you will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments. You must achieve an acceptable score on both; you are allowed a maximum of 2 attempts to pass each.
