Job Details:

• Work 10-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block schedule format: 8 days on, 6 days off, Wednesday to Wednesday with every other Thursday through Tuesday off
• Work exclusively in the hematology department on the coagulation and urinalysis section
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• No direct patient contact and no phlebotomy required
• Preferred experience with Epic Beaker, Werfen Tops 500 and 750 for coagulation testing, and Iris for urinalysis
• Charting system: EPIC
• No designated scrub color; may wear scrubs or business casual attire; no open-toed shoes permitted
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
• 6-month contract commitment preferred
• Required certifications: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP verification or Certified Medical Technologist (MT) via AMT verification
• West Virginia High Complexity Testing Personnel (HCTP) License or Trainee License issued by the WV Department of Health required
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science or Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science required
