Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Treat 8 to 10 patients per day as the sole therapist on shift
• Float between Jerome and Magic Valley Medical Center on a daily basis when census is low
• Work with acute inpatient and swing bed patients
• Treat patients with orthopedic conditions (total joints), neurological conditions (strokes, occasional brain injuries), medical cases, and general ICU patients
• Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience
• First-time travelers are acceptable
• Required certification: BLS
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 2-3 days of department-specific orientation required
• No self-scheduling available
• May need to cover holidays
• Scrubs permitted but must not match other department colors (color list provided upon hire)
• Four shift cancellation limit per 13-week assignment
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
