Ultrasound Technologist Job in Helena, MT

St. Peter's Health in Helena, MT is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 21, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide ultrasound imaging services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Your responsibilities include performing vascular, general abdomen, AAA, breast, obstetric, and pediatric ultrasounds. You will also assist with biophysical profiles, thoracentesis, and paracentesis procedures. You will not perform ultrasound-guided procedures or breast scanning as primary duties.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities. You will work 5x8 days with weekly compensation of $2,308.26.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• ARDMS certification (must be on profile at time of application)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Obstetric experience (essential)
• Pediatric experience (required)
• Prior travel experience preferred

Work Environment

You will work with GE ultrasound equipment and the Epic electronic medical records system. Professional scrubs of your choice are required. The facility applies a 70-mile radius rule for assignment location. All RTO or schedule requests must be submitted at the time of application.
