Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 4x10 day shift schedule, offering $2,920 weekly pay.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced interventional cardiology environment. Your responsibilities include circulating and monitoring patients during coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, stenting, and related invasive vascular procedures. You will work across two procedure rooms, managing both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor during interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures
• Demonstrate expertise with supplies and devices used in coronary and peripheral interventions
• Provide 24-hour STEMI coverage support as part of on-call responsibilities
• Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support the clinical team in a two-room procedure laboratory

Requirements

You must hold an active RN license and have registered nursing experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. Familiarity with coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and stenting is required. STEMI call responsibilities are part of this position.
