About this role

Join Artesia General Hospital as a Physical Therapist in a hospital-based outpatient setting. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Weekend rotation is required approximately once every five weekends to cover inpatient units, and you may be asked to participate in holiday rotation.

Your Role:

  • Treat 8 to 10 patients per day in an outpatient care setting with potential to flex into inpatient medical-surgical and rehabilitation units
  • Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver skilled interventions and monitor patient progress
  • Educate patients and family members on treatment and recovery
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
  • Document services in compliance with legal, ethical, and reimbursement standards using the TruBridge - Evident charting system

Patient Population:

You will work with patients ranging from juvenile (typically age 5 and older) to geriatrics. Common diagnoses include total joints, back, shoulder, and foot pain, as well as neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, and Parkinson's disease.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of outpatient PT experience; inpatient-only experience will be considered
  • Current PT State License
  • BLS Certification
  • First-time travelers are welcome

What We Provide:

  • One to two shift orientation with a preceptor
  • Business casual dress code (collared shirt, khaki or black pants) or solid-colored scrubs
  • Maximum of three days of requested time off for this assignment

This 91-day assignment begins June 26, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,376.
