Cytotechnologist Job in Cedar Rapids, IA

UnityPoint - St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Cytotechnologist for a temporary assignment. You will work days with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,223
• Assignment duration: 91 days

Core Responsibilities:

You will review 50–60 slides daily, up to 300 slides per week, performing cytological analysis and preparation according to laboratory protocols and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 months of cytotechnology experience
• Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program
• ASCP (CT) or equivalent Cytotechnology certificate
• BD Focal Point equipment experience
• BD Surepath equipment experience
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC EMR experience
• Sunquest experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months
