ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Required scrub color: Navy
• 2 years minimum ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel experience required
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience highly preferred and prioritized by hiring manager
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Work in a 42-bed ICU unit (East 20 beds, West 22 beds) encompassing Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, AAA, and trauma
• Specialty equipment used on unit includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
