NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• On-call required
• Must be able to work Level 1 Well Baby through Level 3 NICU with Mother Baby experience
• Patient ratios of 1-3 patients to 4 nurses
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• Must be able to float to Well Baby and assist with deliveries; float to Postpartum highly preferred
• Block scheduling accommodated when possible
• Orientation held on Mondays with 36 orientation hours
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Valid Kentucky RN license or Compact RN license required
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Patient population includes neonates and infants
