Job Details:

• 1st shift position working 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Perform breast imaging, bone densitometry, computer processing, and related imaging techniques
• Produce quality images for radiologist review and interpretation
• Verify patient identification, orders, and medical records prior to each exam
• Continuously monitor patients throughout all exams and procedures
• Apply proper radiation protection protocols for patients and self
• Complete and document quality control on equipment in accordance with MQSA guidelines
• Verify images are archived to PACS and maintain accurate records for images and related paperwork
• Obtain and document patient history through medical records or direct patient communication
• Document all incidents related to patient care in electronic health records
• Assist radiologists and authorized providers with exams as necessary
• Report equipment malfunctions and environment of care concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Order and restock supplies and linens as needed
• Collaborate with scheduling, registration, and film library to ensure a positive experience for patients and providers
