Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM; charge nurses work 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, same shift hours as above
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Float requirements to Med/Surg like units
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on a 16-bed observation unit
• Care for short stay patients who are mostly ambulatory, actively going to tests, receiving IV antibiotics, pre-surgical patients, and chest pain rule-out cases
• Equipment used includes bladder scanner, EKG machine, Vein light, and VS machine
• EMR system: Epic
• Preferred skills include EKG reads and leadership experience
• Required certifications: BLS and RN Licensure
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Hoodies and t-shirts are not acceptable attire
