Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week, or 8/10-hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirements can be discussed with manager
• Call requirement is case by case basis with no set schedule, but is required
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to sister facilities (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition - all within 20 miles)
• Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must have Cardiac Cath experience along with experience in at least two of the four modalities: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro - this must be reflected in work history
• Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
• Preferred certifications: RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Tech) and RCIS
• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Rotablader Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Sterile Field Maintenance, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Sterile Technique
• Patient population includes middle adults and older adults
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission
• EKG and Pharmacology tests required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
• Pre-start modules required, averaging 6-15 hours, recorded via SilkRoad
