Interventional Radiology

Opportunity:

RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays
• On-call every 5th weekend with no callback minimum
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:1 patient ratio with adult and geriatric patient population
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required with Interventional Radiology experience required
• First-time travelers accepted but must have Interventional Radiology experience
• Perform and assist with special procedures including Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Embolization
• Treat patients with diagnoses including CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, Stenosis, AAA, Stroke, and Aneurysm
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
• Blocked schedules cannot be accommodated
• May be floated to CAMC General Lab CDL
• Key skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Cardioversion, Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Cerebral Angiography, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, Interventional Radiology, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Stent Graft Placement, TAVR, and Vascular Closure Systems
